  • Be Safe

    All Scouts are required to go through the Youth Protection Training in the Boy Scout Handbook with their parents when they first join.

  • Get Trained

    All registered adults are required to take Youth Protection Training online. In addition we have some additional YouTube Videos of orientation. Session 1 Session 2 Session 3 Session 4

About the Uniform

The Scout should have his full uniform within the first month after joining the troop.

If there are any issues with being able to do this, please consult the Scoutmaster.

Troop Provides

The Troop gives each Scout:

  • Neckerchief
  • Slide
  • Epaulettes
  • Troop Numerals
  • Troop Tee Shirt

Scout Buys

The Scout and his parents should buy:

  • Boy Scout Shirt (Short Sleeve)
  • Boy Scout Pants, Switchbacks or Shorts
  • Boy Scout Ankle Socks
  • Boy Scout Belt
  • World Crest Emblem
  • Circle 10 Council Shoulder Patch
  • Boy Scout Handbook (Please label with name!)

Optional Items

These items are nice to have but not required:

  • Boy Scout Handbook Cover (Recommended)
  • Merit Badge Sash (comes in two sizes – consider the potential growth of your scout)
  • Merit Badge Requirements Book (contains requirements for all merit badges)
  • Three ring binder and some plastic baseball card sheets (to store the merit badge blue cards)
